Our analyzer reads the site's homepage and checks its title, meta description, canonical, structured data, social preview, headings, errors, robots.txt, the sitemap, llms.txt, HTTPS and redirects, then measures it with Lighthouse.
Yes, with no sign up and no card. You can scan up to 5 different websites an hour, and audit the same site again after 10 minutes: before that we show you the audit already made. Every audit keeps its own page, so you can compare them over time.
Usually a few minutes. Public scans start in order of arrival and give way to the studio's own work, so while you wait you see your place in line and an estimated time that updates on its own. You can also close the page and get the report by email.
Lighthouse scores SEO from 0 to 100: 90 and above is good, 50 to 89 needs improvement, below 50 is poor. It is a technical check, not a ranking prediction: a site can score 100 and stay invisible if its content does not answer what people are searching for.
They are lab measurements: Lighthouse loads the homepage as a mid range phone on a slow mobile network. By Google's measure, Largest Contentful Paint is good within 2.5 seconds and layout stability (CLS) within 0.1. Interactivity (INP) can only be measured on real users, so it is not shown.
It measures how ready the site is to be read and cited by ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Google's AI answers. It is a weighted mean of ten checks: content readable without JavaScript, llms.txt, robots.txt open to AI crawlers, structured data, sitemap, title, meta description, canonical, HTTPS and SEO score. A check we cannot verify never lowers the score.
Yes, on the technical side. Generative engine optimization (GEO), or AI search optimization, is SEO for AI answers: before an assistant can cite a site, it has to be able to read it. The AI score checks exactly that, through llms.txt, AI crawlers and structured data. Being cited then depends on content, which the audit does not judge.
With the business websites of a city we scanned for the State of the Web, or with the national average. For every measure we tell you how many of those sites yours does better than, and what the median value is. You pick the city to compare with.
Almost always because of a firewall or bot protection, such as Cloudflare's or Vercel's: it blocks automated visits, so the scan reads a checkpoint page instead of the site. When we notice it we show no scores. If the site is yours you can let the scanner through, or write to us and we will look at it.
Yes. Every audit has its own public page, and for each site the latest successful audit can appear on Google. Write to audits@nfw.run from an address on the domain, or tell us how to check the site is yours: we remove its audits and, if you like, make sure it is not scanned again.
The email is optional: we only use it if you accept both the privacy policy and marketing communications, and we send you the report. You can unsubscribe from every email. Every audit has its own page; your browser keeps only a reference to your latest audits, to reopen them.
